Real Smiles, Real Patients — Before and After Dental Implants in Charlotte
Every photograph in this gallery is a real patient treated at Harrell Dental Implant Center. No retouching. No stock imagery. Some came in missing a single tooth. Some had been managing dentures for years. Some were told implants weren’t an option before they came here for a second opinion. The photographs show where each patient started — and what treatment delivered. See these outcomes alongside reviews and video stories on our real patient results page.
Patient photography consent is on file for all images shown. Clinical photographs are taken as part of the standard documentation process — not produced for marketing. Images have not been retouched or composited. Dr. Robert Harrell personally performed each case shown here.

Questions patients ask most often when reviewing before and after photos.
Yes. Every photograph is a real patient treated at this practice. Clinical photography is taken as part of the standard documentation process — not produced for marketing. Images are not retouched or composited, and no stock imagery is used anywhere in this gallery. Patient photography consent is on file for all images.
After photographs are taken at final restoration delivery or a follow-up appointment. Single implant cases photograph at crown delivery — typically three to six months after placement. Full-arch and All-on-4 cases photograph at final restoration delivery. Cases involving bone grafting add an additional healing interval before placement can proceed.
The honest answer to whether your case is workable comes from a 3D evaluation, not from browsing photographs. Patients who were declined elsewhere have been successfully treated here after a CBCT scan revealed options the earlier visual assessment missed. The free consultation is where that assessment happens.
A complimentary digital smile preview is included as part of the free consultation. It’s created from your clinical records and gives you a visual reference for what your restoration may look like — before any treatment decision is made. No obligation.
This gallery documents the visual outcome. For patients who want to hear about the process itself — anxiety, comfort, what appointments actually felt like — the patient video stories are the right resource. Several patients describe treatment that was easier than they anticipated, including patients who had delayed care specifically because of procedural anxiety.
